1978 Ford F100

1978 Ford F100 2wd shortbed. Engine is a 71' 351 bored to a 358 complete roller cam and rockers AFR 185cc aluminum heads elderbrock air gap 4bbl intake with a holley 600 carb. Exhaust headers flowing 3in to flowmaster super 44's. Trans is a C4 with a B@M shift kit and a custom designed stall converter from Artcarr. Frame completely painted in por 15 silver. Frame cab and bed original to truck. Bought truck for 250 bucks slightly wrecked in right front. Body found one right original still in box bedside from Green auto sales. The left is a NPD long bed cut to a short. Front femders hood and very straight tailgate found at local junk yards. Bed is Line X with old ford logo on bed front. Interior is a 94 Ford truck seat with center arm rest. Custom head liner with old ford logo raised up to stand out all done in dark blue velvet. Started progect when i was 22 making 22,00 a year in a one car garage. Took 4 years to complete saving as much money as possable for the next part, and barely any girlfriends. mainly eating cheap food and lots of hamburgers and fries. Job went out of business right as project was almost complete but managed to finish it. Have won a best of class award and a firemans choice award at two car shows out of the three that I made it to last summer. Went to two cruise nights with it.
