I started the frame off restoration of my 1962 Pontiac Grand Prix 5 years ago. I did most of the work myself in my garage. This is my first restoration and I learned a LOT during the process, patience being one. I had to fabricate a few brackets and other odds and ends and do some weld repairs, I learned auto wiring, body work, paint, upholstery, and that things don't always go as they should. Everything on the car is either new, NOS, or rebuilt, with the exception of some specialty fasteners. It has a rebuilt 1969 Pontiac 400 bored .030 over, 1966 tripower, a TH400 tranny, and a 3.42 posi. I added factory AC and the famous Pontiac 8 lug wheel option and a few other options that the car did not have originally. The color choice is a Dodge color. The body is Patriot Blue and Sophia White on top to match the interior. I am very proud of my accomplishment and am pleased with the outcome.
