Following a roll over accident I rebuilt and restored this 1998 Chevrolet Camaro B4C LS1. The original color was Sebring Silver when it was issued to the state of South Carolina for highwaw patrol use. Before I purchased it someone painted it with red tractor paint....arg! It is now a "bright blue met" better known as IROC blue I performed a complete tear down and all panels are OEM GM new or used. I did utilze a local body shop, but only to do about 3hrs (inc setup and break down) frame straighting. I realigned the roof pillars using a porta power and replaced sections of the roof. The car is painted using base coat clear coat system by myself. 99.9% was done by me. Yes I could have just bought another body but I rebuilt this one for 2 reasons, first too many people said I couldn't, second it is kinda rare, it is not a Z28 but a B4C Police Package. It was one of 2 Sebring Silver B4Cs in 1998 but hey silver is not my cup of tea. Just finished rebuilding a monster 4l60e trans myself too. Ported and polished T.B., 3" mandrel bent exhaust, wisper lid w/K&N, and a power tune are the only current mods. Many more to come.
